About Nancy Largent
I have been a professional in the field of technology and technology education for over twenty years. I am also a permanently certified public school teacher, and taught full-time in the New York City Public School System in Brownsville, Brooklyn for two years.
My formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Bachelor of Graphic Design from the College of Design at North Carolina State University, and a Master of Science in Education from Brooklyn College.
I have extensive knowledge of current technology and practices, and I research newly released products and what is next to come on the tech horizon. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and concise. My goal for all my students is to alleviate their initial technological frustrations, increase their confidence, improve their efficiency and workflow, and work towards total technology independence. I want my Largent Learners to graduate from the Institute with a thorough knowledge of the specific skills they need for their own personal goals. My greatest joy is seeing my students smiling after each Largent Learning Lesson because of how much they have accomplished so quickly and easily.
If you would like to become a Largent Learner, please contact Nancy Largent by emailing info@LargentLearningInstitute.com or call (919) 904-0604. I look forward to speaking with you about your specific technology education needs.
